For him I've chose light because he's the"lighthouse"of the family XD lol seriously,I've chose this element because he gave the light of a new life to all Cullens.Without him,Edward would have never became a vampire and met Bella,and we wouldn't have this beautiful story now.He's also a benchmark for all the family.He guides them to not permit that they lose themselves in the dark of wickedness.Just like a lighthouse guides ships though the sea in the night.
